Crisco shortening, the cooking ingredient that has been revolutionizing the way food is prepared and the way it tastes since its introduction in 1911, has a long history of involvement with the Hispanic market. As early as 1970, Crisco ran ads in Spanish for U.S. audiences and the first Spanish-language televised cooking show produced in the U.S. was "Cocina Crisco."

More recent Crisco products include three varieties of imported olive oil and Puritan® Canola oil with Omega-3 DHA. The Crisco line of products includes naturally cholesterol-free cooking oils, all-vegetable shortening, shortening sticks for baking ease, and alcohol-free no-stick cooking sprays. Crisco Pure Canola, Corn, and Vegetable oils are available in the innovative Crisco Simple Measures® bottle.
